Hi, my name is Max, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help saving someone who means the world to me and especially the mum of the family who took me in through my (continuing ) health problems rescue mutt Billie.
Billie isn’t just a pet. She’s a rescue dog who came into my life after surviving a traumatic and abusive start to life. Despite everything she’d been through, she somehow had love to give and she gave it to nearly all, especially my “adopted” mum. She became her shadow, her companion, and most of all, her comfort after the unimaginable loss of the families daughter, who passed away far too young at just 37 years old.
In the darkest moments, when her mum didn’t know how to keep going, Billie did. She lay beside her during sleepless nights, laying right beside her, making sure she had her own pillow offered warmth when everything felt cold, and gave her a reason to get out of bed when she felt so devastated at her loss. Her love kept her going many days, for which im eternally grateful.
Now, sadly I need to do everything I can to return that love — and I need help to do it. Combined with my medical costs they’ve helped so much with, her vet bills are skyrocketing!
What’s Happening
Billie is now facing a serious health crisis. She requires urgent specialist veterinary treatment, including tests, medications, and surgery, to have a fighting chance at more time — and more quality of life. Her condition is complex, and only expert veterinary care can give her the help she needs. The estimated total cost is around $8,400, which covers consultations with specialists, diagnostic imaging, medications, and potentially life-saving surgery. Why I’m Asking for Help
We’re doing everything we can, but these unexpected costs are simply more than can be reasonably managed by one person with a disability and with a pension. Every dollar donated will go directly toward Billie’s medical expenses and care. I truly believe she deserves the same devotion she’s shown others, a chance to live, to be pain-free, and to keep being the light in many lives.
Sadly Time Matters
The sooner Billie receives this care, the better her outcome can be. Time is critical, and I am doing everything in my power to act fast. If you’re able to help in any way — by donating, sharing, or even just sending good thoughts, I am truly grateful. Billie saved the person who has saved me from going through all my medical stuff alone. I want to save her now. Thank you for reading and for caring.
His is ONE day of what will be quite a few sadly.
