Hi, my name is Jamie. Coles mom and Cals GG. I am creating this fundraiser for a little less stress and less financial difficulties. My grandson Cal was diagnosed with a very rare disease called CDG. For over two years now he has struggled daily and his liver has failed. On February 20,2024 Cals dad Cole was able to donate part of his liver to save Cals life. Now that the liver transplant has happened, they will be having to stay in New York City for 2 to 3 months in an Airbnb just a few blocks away from the hospital. They need to be within close range of the hospital for regular check ups, bloodwork any spiked fever, swelling, any complications on Cal. This fundraiser will help with the cost of the Airbnb for 2 to 3 months, gas food, parking, unexpected expenses. It will help with the lost wages of Cole not being able to work at his taxidermy shop or compete in his power slap job. With Cole being in recovery he is not allowed to do any heavy lifting, which includes picking up Cal and taking care of Cal so this fundraiser will also help with the family traveling back-and-forth to help relieve Alissa from taking care of Cal all by herself for the next 2 to 3 months, so if you are able to help take a little stress off this family, we would gladly appreciate it.
