Locks for Love

Lexi's greatest love was Nick. Nick stood by her side every day and night as she fought metastatic breast cancer for the past 9 months. The nurses referred to him as "Lexi's Rockstar" as he refused to leave the hospital and was her rock through everything.

Lexi and Nick LOVED to travel and had a life of adventures planned. Nick will be embarking on a road trip journey to fulfill Lexi's last wishes for all the places she always wanted to visit. He will be taking her dog, Gidget, with him as he places a Heart Lock engraved with "Lexi & Nick" at every stop.

I have started this page for Nick because I know how much these adventures meant to Lexi. I know she will be with him on this journey every step of the way as she smiles and laughs from heaven. Nick will be updating us with photos of his journey and all of the places he leaves a Heart Lock for Lexi.

Nick's current plans include Charleston, Florida, the California coastline, Seattle (where he is from), and Chicago. He will also be making a stop here in Wichita, Kansas to take my sweet kids (Charleston & Will) to the Tanganyika Wildlife Park, where Lexi had been wanting to go with them to visit.
