My name is Dana, I live in Eugene Oregon. This fundraiser is for my sister Angela, who lives in Las Vegas. She is pregnant and due Nov 7th with a baby girl. Prior to Covid-19, Angela was working in a Casino bringing in enough money to support her family. In March, she was laid off. She has since taken on a job making barely over minimum wage to help support her family in any way she can. She is able to work from home, as well as our younger sister all while raising 4 kids and homeschooling since Covid. With this new job, she only has 3 days of PTO she can use and plans to go right back to work. Her husband works full time as well as our younger sister and they can’t financially make ends meet without Angela’s income too. 

This is her first baby and most likely her only (She does have an older step son, who is an amazing you man and big helper)

It absolutely breaks my heart she doesn’t get this opportunity to stay home, at least for a few weeks to bond with her daughter. 

Angela has a heart of gold and will do anything for anyone. She is always there to help and a great Aunty to many nieces and nephews. 

I really want to be able to give her this experience. My goal is to raise enough money to replace 2-4 weeks of income so she can spend this time bonding with her baby girl Cayha. 

If you are able to donate, even the smallest amount, anything helps and gets us closer to our goal. And if we aren’t able to reach our goal, every little bit counts in allowing her to stay home for a short time. 

As I am sure most of us are in the same boat financially due to Covid, if you are unable to donate, we completely understand. 

All money will be used as a ‘Paycheck’ for Angela to support her family as if she hadn’t missed a paycheck from taking time off to bond withher newborn.
