Giving Mark the Gift of Nancy

We have been overwhelmed by the love and thoughtfulness that our friends and family have shown us during this difficult time. It has moved us to tears many times throughout these last few weeks.
As many of you already know, my father-in-law, Mark Dorris has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in the Liver. It has been such a shock to us how fast things have progressed. We saw Mark go from a stomach ache, to cancer diagnosis, to Hospice care in about 6 weeks.
Through all of this, Mark and his wife (my mother-in-law), Nancy have experienced such love and support. People have generously showed up to clean their yard, clean their house, bring meals, and sit with Mark at the hospital. It has been truly wonderful. Mark tells me often how much he is moved by the love that all of these people (many whom he has never met) are showing him and his family during this time.
Many people have asked, "What can we do?" Until now, we've really just been asking most people to pray. Today, there is a way that you may be able to help us bless Mark.
Will you consider giving Mark the gift of Nancy?
With Mark not able to work, Nancy is not in a position financially to take an unpaid leave of absence from work.
Although we've had family step in and help us care for Mark, it is clear that Mark really wants his wife by his side. When she's there, he's asking when she has to leave, and when she's gone, he's asking when she will return. As badly as Mark wants Nancy by his side, Nancy wants to be there.
We have calculated that after the disability checks and family help, we will need $4000 to get Nancy home with Mark for the next month.
We are in the process of selling their home and moving them both into our house with us in the next 6 weeks which will relieve their financial burden a bit and give them some home equity that will allow Nancy to continue to stay with Mark.
