Chris (on the right) went on a vacation to the desert with 5 of his close friends. We were having so much fun then the tables turned very quickly. Chris was driving a off road buggy when it rolled. As the buggy rolled Chris's left hand was crushed by the roll cage. His friends immediately wrapped his mangled hand in a towel and rushed to the near by fire station.  Chris was taken to the hospital by a helicopter (Mercy Air) and went straight into the surgery room. The surgeons were not able to save his thumb. Chris is has no left thumb, has a broken wrist and fingers, and has a plate and pins in his hand and wrist. He will be getting more hand surgeries like hand reconstruction and skin graphs. Please donate to help Chris and his family pay for the very expensive helicopter ride and surgeries!
 Chris handled the situation very well. He was very calm the whole time, which kept his friends calm to. As Chris was getting into the helicopter he was telling his friends to stay in the desert and to not let him ruin there time. Chris has had a positive attitude threw all of this and takes full responsibility for his actions. Even after he knew he lost his thumb he was still apologizing for rolling the buggy. This just shows how good of a guy Chris is and why we think he deserves your guys help!
