Support Jacob's Recovery from Brain Surgery

Jacob, husband of Lisa and father to Jon (25), Katie (22), Arya (9), Gwendolyn (4), and Emery (2) was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma on July 30, 2024 and will be undergoing brain surgery September 4th to remove the tumor. He will be out of work for up to four months and possibly longer to recover. During those four months he will participate in therapies to regain his balance as his right vestibular cranial nerve will be severed when removing the tumor. His hearing will not be restored as he has suffered moderate to severe hearing loss in his right ear due to where the tumor is located. He will be getting hearing aides and adjusting to his new way of hearing moving forward after the surgery. Lisa will be taking on all responsibilities of the family to allow Jacob time to heal. This GoFundMe will aide in supporting grocery funds and could provide the family with some financial relief in the upcoming months. During this time the family will not be receiving any additional income including lack of disability insurance or and only 50 % pay for up to 100 days of medical leave from work.
