Being vulnerable... this is painful. Well... I basically have less than a week to make a miracle happen.

In September, I was unexpectedly fired from my job with no severance pay. Unemployment never kicked in, so I used and depleted all of what I had in my 401k to manage my rent and other bills.

I've never not paid my rent. Despite this, my complex is very strict on having every month paid within the month, or they are quick to send you to court.

In December, I was fortunate enough to find a contracted position with an amazing company and start on the 15th. I notified my complex immediately and sent them the paperwork for rental assistance. Unfortunately, on December 11th, my family experienced an out-of-state death, which was an unexpected expense added to the chaos. On the 19th, I was informed I was not chosen to receive assistance.

My apartment complex told me I can turn in my keys, pay $2500, or get locked out.

I'm aware everyone is dealing with their own life problems right now, and I don't have anyone who can help me in the magnitude that I need right now, so here I am putting my business out to the world in hopes that anyone with some spare change can help a girl trying to find her way in this hectic world out.
