In memory of Kathy Barrun who left this world too suddenly and too soon.



On Tuesday, April 27, we lost a dear friend and co-worker, Kathy Barrun. She passed away leaving behind her husband (Bobby), son (Evan) and daughter (Avery). Kathy has been an important part of the Stanford Procurement Services team for almost six years. She brought an easy-going approach and fun spirit to the team she managed and to everyone around her.  She always had a genuine smile when you saw her, whether it was in passing in the hall, or for help with a transaction. During this past year, while we could not see her smile in the halls, but we felt it radiate through the virtual interactions we had with her. Her presence in our lives will be missed, and words are not enough to express our sadness at this time.
