Looking for a place to call Home

Hello all, I'm Jillian and this handsome fella is my son Jake. We moved to Florida in 2017 as the Northern winters (SD) were too hard on this little man. After struggling for years because of loosing full time child care services for my special needs non verbal and not yet potty trained child and work lost because of the pandemic..I have reached the point of exhaustion. I am also flat broke and out of options here. Housing has skyrocketed and even the 'cheap" housing is out of our reach.We are planning on heading to North Carolina where my best friend lives and I feel we will fit in better. We need some small town country living! I am grateful we made it through the school year living between a tent, a woman's shelter and friends homes to keep Jake in school and have something constant. The issue I am facing now is..how do we get there? My vehicle, which has already cost $ 4,000.00 in repairs this past year needs another $ 700.00 to get on the road. I still have car payments too. As well as other bills. I am asking for A Little Help From My Friends to get us on our way and moving towards some peace and calm and a community to be a part of. We are so Grateful for All help we receive to help us on our way. I know there are so many people struggling in this world right now. I so look forward to be in the position to be the one offering the hand up. It's been a very rocky road navigating life as a single parent of this amazing child. He has such a heart full of love and his joyful presence brings smiles to the faces of all who are blessed to cross his path. He deserves a home, a room of his own. I am praying this is the change we need and that we will be flying through open windows and soaring across the sky.️️️️
