In November, Billy, reluctantly, went to the hospital with a terrible pain in his abdomen. We weren't prepared and were all crushed to hear that Cancer had been found in his liver.

In the beginning, the outlook seemed promising, as Billy and Nicole did everything possible to fight this terrible disease from getting the upper-hand on their family. They went from appointment to appointment, paying co-pays and enduring the chemo and its debilitating side-effects, grasping at any treatment suggested that would help, Billy, survive.

A few short weeks ago, it was determined that their efforts were, in vein. And after a middle-of-the-night ER visit, the discovery that the Cancer had metastasized to Billy's lungs was made. From that point on, nothing was the same.The rug completely pulled out from under them...

Hope turned into hopelessness and the realization that this is a battle they could not win, set in. Billy is only 53.

Nicole and Billy bravely, decided to end chemo, as it greatly diminished his quality of life, and made arrangements to move Billy into hospice, where he currently is.

We want to raise money for Nicole and Gabby, during this time of great loss. They have supported and cared for Billy always, and especially during this devastating time. Nicole works multiple jobs, in order to take care of her family. This ordeal has impacted her ability to work, as well as, accumulated an insurmountable pile of debt. The ability to raise funds to help her make final arrangements, pay hospital/medical debts, and supplement her income, would bring her peace-of-mind. We love this family and want to take care of them, and help ease the worries and financial strains, so they have time to grieve their loss.
