This GoFundMe was originally set up to assist with my brother Serverio Fernandez medical expenses and to help his wife with monthly expenses while he is in the hospital and recovering as on 09/16/2023 my brother angel, at 28 suffered a brain hemorrhage. Meaning that a blood vessel burst in his brain causing internal bleeding and putting pressure on all sides of his brain. Doctors had to cut open his skull to relieve the pressure leaving him in a medically induced coma and in a helpless state, unable to do anything for himself and ultimately he ended up passing away due to the carelessness of the medical care facility that he was placed in.

Angel was originally at care facility A (November- December 16th, 2023) and was doing well under there care. He was on different medications and went from being completely non responsive under their care, to being able to move his fingers, respond to yes or no questions by blinking and was able to have visitors but unfortunately do to insurance and that facility not able to continue to properly care for him do to staffing issues, he was moved to Facility B. (December 19th)

At Facility B is where the issues began. His condition was deteriorating there due to the facility b care staff not taking proper care of him or following the treatment plan that they were given. By December 31st, he was taken to an emergency room due to his worsening condition and the day before, his step mother was trespassed from the care facility for arguing with the staff and begging them to follow the treatment plan from the previous care facility. His Second hospital visit was on 01/24/24
