A parent in our community is struggling and needs our help. Prior to the pandemic, this person successfully worked in the service industry, but fell on hard times along with the entire industry when the pandemic hit. Along with losing employment, their housing costs became impossible to keep up with, and despite finding steady employment once the pandemic subsided, their debts were overwhelming. When it because legal again to evict tenants, this parent became homeless.

Saving every extra dollar they earned for a security and rental deposit, the parent became a victim of a PayPal-related scam that defrauded them and stole their hard earned money. They are desperate, ashamed, and inconsolable.

Please find it in your heart to give anything you can. Being able to find stable housing is the most pressing need, and the stolen money makes it virtually impossible for them to do so. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
