Skydive for Crohn’s and Colitis UK

Donation protected
Hi,

I’m going to be doing a skydive at 10,000ft to raise money for the charity, Crohn’s and Colitis UK.

Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis are the two main forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, affecting more than 500,000 people in the UK. Yet it is largely a hidden disease, and one that causes stigma, fear and isolation, its thought that many people with the condition go undiagnosed and suffer in silence.

This cause is very personal to me as I have Crohn’s disease and a section of Ulcerative Colitis as-well. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s in 2022 when I was 14 years old and have been through multiple treatments, including having an NG Tube, steroids, immunosuppressants and now I am on biological medication where I inject myself once every two weeks. The past 3 years have been very hard so this is why I would like to raise money for this amazing charity, so that others who have IBD can hold out hope that one day there will be a cure or more development in the research to this disease, and show others that just because you have a disability, doesn’t restrict you from living your life to the maximum.

My goal is to raise £500, for this incredible charity and to get more information out there about this disease, so others can be more aware of the struggles faced by people diagnosed with IBD everyday.

I would be massively grateful for any donations made as it will make a huge difference.

Once I have completed the tandem skydive (in May - I will update on further dates when confirmed), I will uploads any photos or videos taken from the day onto facebook.
