In Memory of Shannon Welch

As many of you have already heard, Shannon Welch lost her battle with cancer. She put up an amazing effing fight over the past 4 years. She didn't let her diagnosis drag her down. In fact, she stood up to be the best mother, wife, provider, and friend I have ever seen. I know that you can all attest to that.

Now is the time for us to show our support for Matt, Emma, and Addy, by providing financial assistance. They shouldn't have to worry about memorial costs, or Emma's UW expenses, or anything but trying to adjust to her loss.

The second part is to carry on her legacy. Learn to knit, watch a scary movie with your kids, buy Girl Scout cookies, read a banned book, dress up like Harry Potter, take a ferry to Whidbey Island, travel to Europe, volunteer at your local elementary school, or just hug one of her friends or family.
