Please help me fight for my mother’s life

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a protective individual. Whether you are a friend, relative or a person I encounter going through a rough patch in their lives, I will try to help. If I am unable to help, I will find someone who can. That is why it pains me to watch my mother helplessly fight yet another battle with cancer. My brother and I have exhausted our personal funds trying to get the treatment that she needs. We find ourselves having to reach out to the government health system in Mexico. It’s been a nightmare! Not only are we dealing with the uncertainty of not knowing how far cancer has spread throughout our mother’s body, but we are also dealing with the system that sees patients as just another number. She was admitted into the hospital Wednesday, May 11th. She has been losing her ability to talk at times, and on occasions, she doesn’t even know where she is. It breaks my heart to see such a strong woman not be able to even walk. What is even more disheartening is witnessing that after 30 years in service as a teacher, the medical system that my mother has paid into is completely failing her. She has now been there six nights, waiting her turn to take a test to try to figure out why she is not able to walk or talk. I’ve been trying to reach out to different people to find out why it is taking this long, and I keep getting the runaround. At this point, we would like to take her back to the private sector so she can get better care. This is not cheap. That’s why after praying, this platform came to mind. Please help me fight for my mother’s life.
