Putting Mikes Head Back Together

Hello loved ones, family, and friends,
my name is Barb Krupa and I am asking you all for help raising funds for my boyfriend.
This is an account for our loved one, a friend, brother, boyfriend , trucker, and fellow rider, Mike Locascio. On the morning of December 1st 2015, just a regular work day took a turn for the worst, and Mike got into a semi truck accident. The accident involved his semi truck, which he was was driving, rolling over on its side, causing the cab of the truck to completely crush inward. Luckily for Mike, he was able to surprisingly crawl out the windsheild and get rushed to the hospital. Later in the ER, we learned that not only did the laceration on his head, go all the way through to his skull, but that he also fractured multiple vertebrae in his neck/spine. Mike needed three layers of his scalp sewn back together across his head, a JP drain attached to his head laceration because of the amount of blood that was draining, and a neck brace for the fractures he acquired. After a ton of tests, MRIs, catscans, and a stepdown ICU stay, we have finally made it home, where he can start his road to recovery.
Just like many people, Mike and I are a regular young couple living pay check to pay check. He is a truck driver, and I work as a CNA at a hospital and also going to school. Getting that phone call, that the man I love got into an accident, and was being rushed to the hospital, was by the far the worst moment of my life. Me and him share a home together, where we pay rent, and have many fur babies. With the help of god, Mike is still alive , and his fractures did not reach his spinal cord, allowing him full movement of all his limbs. Now Mike will be out of work for a least a few months. And unfortunately for us, Mike didnt have any health insurance, and now that we are finally home trying to recover, we have to now face the bills that are coming our way. We applied for financial aid through the hospital but are told, that only a portion of our medical expenses might be paid for. Which brings us here.
I want to ask everyone, out of the kindness of their hearts, to please give a helping hand, and donate any amount they could to help us pay for his hospital bills. We dont know the amount of the bills yet but no donation is too small, and Mike and I truly appreciate all the love and kindness that we have been receiving, but we could use any help we could get.
