I'm sure most of you have heard about the explosion in New York's East Village on March 26. Friend, fellow Davidson classmate, and all-around good person McKenzie Roese lived right above the expolosion in 121 2nd Ave and consequently lost her home and all her possessions in the subsequent fire. McKenzie and her roommates are all ok which is, of course, the most important thing but there will be a lot of expenses as they replace all they lost. This fund has been set up to help relieve some of the stress in the coming weeks as McKenzie starts to tackle the process of finding a new home and buying new wordly posessions. All funds will go straight to McKenzie (she's the only one that has the ability to withdraw what is raised) so she can buy new clothes, furtniture, find a new apartment, etc.

P.S. because Go Fund me apparently doesn't trust me, I now have to include that my name is Laura Hain, I'm McKenzie's friend from college (Davidson College - go wildcats!) and I currently live in New York, just down the street from the explosion.
