Asking for Help

All my life I have been the person who helped others, at first it was waiting tables for 20 something years and then I put myself through nursing school as a single parent only to become a nurse for the last 19 years. Nursing for me has been a calling, it is my passion to care for others. I Love being a Nurse. Now I need to ask for your help.  The years of wear and tear have taken a toll on my right foot and I must have surgery to repair the damage. I have been to see the doctor who  informed me that if my foot is not repaired I will not be able to do what I love the most. I have 2 tendons that are torn and  can only be fixed with surgery. I have a torn Achilles Tendon that must be repaired if I want to continue to walk and work at what I love the most which is nursing.   A bone spur and ganglion cyst also need to be taken out. The pain is the worst part of it all. There is a displaced fracture of fifth metatarsal that never healed.  In other words there is a big mess in my ankle and foot which needs repair. When I notified my employer of the need to get surgery,  she stated that I would not be able to give me payed time off.  I have been in pain for almost a year now and my foot is not getting better, it is only worse. The recommended treatment is surgical repair. Having surgery will require for me to be off my foot for at least 6-8 weeks without bearing weight on it and another 6-8 weeks wearing a foot boot.
I get up every day and go to work because I am blessed to be working in the front lines and I am grateful to have a 8:30 to 5:00 job. I live with my Mom who has not been able to work since Covid-19 came to visit us all. I also realize that we are all having a hard time with the pandemic on our hands.  I know each of us are going through our own things, however I really need help in  funding my surgery so that I may continue to do what I love the most which is caring for others.  I would not be asking if I had good insurance to cover the surgery and my job does not offer short term disability. I don't even know if I have a job to go back to.  
The Doctor is going to schedule surgery on November 24 which is 1 month from now.  Please if you can donate or share with friends and family, anything helps. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
