Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for my best friend’s necessary gender affirming top surgery fund. P is a transmasc 24 year old living in San Diego. Over the holidays, P accrued costs after his car broke down, a car accident a week later, and being denied sick pay while out of work with covid. This money will go towards the out of pocket surgery costs, pre and post op appointments, and a month of income as P will be on a medical leave absence for 5-6 weeks. We believe $6500 will lessen the emotional, physical, and financial burden of the surgery. 

P is a talented poet, a loyal brother, and an extraordinary friend. Over the past year, P has helped in the fostering and establishment of a queer community in San Diego. P is selfless, always providing a support system for his friends and family. I, and many others, have experienced P’s empathy through his constant desire to affirm people’s gender and sexuality. This surgery is essential so that P can navigate the world without the daily dysphoria that he currently experiences.
