Hi my name is Vennessa Castillo,

I am fundraising for my mother, Claudia Garcia.

My mother was diagnose four years ago, with cirrhosis of the liver and stage four cancer. She is currently on radiation to help cure her cancer. Once she is cancer free, she can be placed on the liver transplant list with Keck University in California.

My mother has work hard to provided for me and my sister as a single mother. Her 1st job was selling hotdogs at the bus depo down town at the age of 15. She is a strong women and even after being diagnose she work to provided for us and her family.

She, has since stop working due to her illness getting worse. Her insurance is no longer covering any of her expenses. And she is still needing to continue her treatments and medication.

We have already applied for Medicare but unfortunately that can take up to a year for her to be approved. Our mother is asking for a helping hand for medication and medical bills. My sister and I have been her rock through this tough time and we will continue to do our best to help provide for her needs.
