Selfless sister of 7 mentally challenged siblings

Hello everyone! My name is Rachel Bea, and while it’s tough to take the leap of asking for help especially during this time of pandemic, here I am. I could really use your support to help a friend, Mary Jane Lopoy, 30 years old, from Purok 5, Mayacabac Dauis, Bohol.

Jane, is a friend of mine from highschool. I’ve had the chance to reconnect with her in the past few months, and have learned her current struggles to provide for the needs of her seven siblings who are mentally challenged.

Her parents have died in 2017, and since then, being the youngest of the family, she took the responsibility of taking care of her siblings. She also has a minor child to look after.

She has selflessly worked so hard despite having to juggle among her responsibilities at work, as a mother, and as a sister. Unfortunately, her meager income in a “job order” status of employment is not sufficient to sustain for the basic needs of her siblings, on top of the mounting debts that they have accumulated over the years.

So I am starting this fundraiser to help a friend who has been very selfless for the love of her siblings.

If you would like to assist, any donation would be greatly appreciated, and all funds raised will go directly to Jane to assist her in starting her small-scale convenience store (or commonly known as sari-sari store in the Philippines) to augment her source of income to sustain her siblings’ daily needs.
