Help us get heat!

A lot of you might not know this, but my husband got hurt at work this past summer and got denied for coverage. We’re diligently working with our lawyer to try and settle with workman’s comp because of lost wages from him being unable to work and now being on light duty. We’ve been spread pretty thin for a while, but with the help of family, we’ve managed. Two days ago, our house started smelling as if it were burning and our heater stopped working. We’ve been staying in a hotel with our kids while waiting to see if a repairman could fix the problem. Today, we were presented with the awful news that the motor blew in our heater. Our options are to wait 2 weeks for a new motor to come in or to replace it. We can’t stay in a hotel for 2 weeks with all of our kids. It’s not sustainable, but a new heating system is going to cost us roughly $5,000. For reference, if we factor in the cost of the new motor and the hotel stay required in order to just fix the one we have, it would cost about the same. We intend to get a new system so we can just go home. I absolutely hate asking for help, but honestly, I don’t know what else to do at this point. If there is any possible way anyone could help at all, it would mean so much to our family. Any little bit helps.
