Relocation Costs For A Place For Grace Childcare

A Place for Grace Child Care has to move unexpectedly! We have found a new home, and we desperately need assistance to pull this off. A Place for Grace is the only fully inclusive child care and preschool facility in the State. It is located in Saginaw, Michigan.

A Place for Grace was founded by Jenny Dumont Radler in 2014, mother to Emma Grace Dumont. Emma was diagnosed with Lennox Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) at a young age. LGS is a rare form of epilepsy that incorporates her developmental and intellectual disabilities. When Emma was 9, she was having trouble at her traditional daycare to the point they were ready to kick her out.

It was that final week that Jenny set out to start the first-ever special needs daycare. They were fortunate enough to find a local Church that opened its doors to A Place for Grace, free of rent payments. Unfortunately, they are now being evicted unexpectedly.

Looking for a suitable place that would serve their needs, be approved by the State of Michigan Licensing authority, and close to their current facility proved to be problematic in the short time they were given to vacate.

A Place for Grace operates as a not-for-profit LLC. They have located a new facility within the Saginaw Public School District. The move will require financial resources for inspections, remodeling, licensing costs, and rent payments. All revenue is dedicated to paying for exceptional teachers, low child-to-teacher ratios, and a customized curriculum to serve each child, with or without a disability.

A Place for Grace is a true asset in the Community. They open their doors and their hearts to any child, no matter what! They are committed to serving and honoring each child where they are at and their needs, and parents sing their praises for what they offer.
