Baylee's Uganda Missions Trip

Growing up I was always told how blessed I am to live in such an amazing place. I never wondered where my next meal was coming from, I've always been surrounded by family and friends, and have had a place to call home.
My name is Baylee and recently I have been given the opportunity to serve in Uganda, Africa with Show Mercy International in the summer. I've always yearned for a chance to see what it's really like in a 3rd world country. I want to be able to share my compassionate heart with the young and old people who have nothing. Traveling is one of my passions, but what God has really put on my heart these past few years is the medical field. I have such a strong desire to help hurting people all around the world. I'm currently going to college to become a traveling nurse. Combining both traveling and helping people in need is considered my dream job. I truly believe this missions trip to Uganda will be such an amazing start on my journey to becoming a traveling nurse. Being able to see first hand what these people go through day to day, would be such a humbling and life changing experience.
Show Mercy International offers many opportunities to love and minister to the people in Uganda such as: village outreach and ministering God's love to them. We will be praying for the sick at a nearby medical clinic and hospitals, serving with their "Say No To Hunger" outreach to the orphans. As a group, we will be ministering to the elderly in the village. Others tasks such as minstering in churches, working with the kids in local schools and hosting children's programs or VBS (vacation bible school) in the villages during school break.
I can't make this trip possible without your love and support! I ask you join me in prayer for financial blessing, safety, encouragement, and anything else the Lord may put on your heart! I currently need $3000 to fully fund my trip. Any donation, big or small is greatly appreciated and helps in every way. I'm excited to see what God has in store and come back changed forever.
