Support for Xavier
Donation protected
Our friends Monica and Graham have a two-and-a-half-year-old son Xavier who has been diagnosed with a neuroblastoma – a rare childhood cancer.
Unfortunately, surgery is not an option at this point, so Xavier will need chemotherapy and possible radiation.
Xavier is so little, this diagnosis is so huge, and the journey ahead seems so daunting.
Xavier’s treatment will require Graham to take a leave from work (Monica is already on maternity leave with their six-month-old daughter), adding another challenge on top of the difficult diagnosis.
One way we can show them our love and support during this difficult journey is with some financial support to make up for lost income and help with additional expenses. If you’re able to contribute, thank you!
If you have had the pleasure of Graham and Monica in your lives, you know they are so kind and generous. Let's show them that same generosity and let them know they are not alone in this journey.
Updates will be posted to this page as they become available. Xavier is scheduled for his biospy this week. After recieving the results, the treatments will begin in full swing around the end of January.
If you want to help in other ways (meals, practical support, etc.), Monica’s brother is coordinating that. Please email him at dionmartens(at) (g) (m) (a) (I) (l) (dot)c(o) m
Thank you in advance for supporting this little family.
