We were doing ok, and then....beginning of 2020 I started having symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. Then covid... and all that came with it...and come June, I wasn't working. Then MS hit me hard, and now I CAN'T work (my neurologist says I have a 'very aggressive form' of MS). My daughter is working 2 days a week and looking for another job. We are being evicted. There's no getting around that. But we need money to get a storage unit, make a move-in fee for an apartment, continue feeding our family, etc.

 

I applied for disability, got a lawyer to help, but it's not here yet. I heard it can take a year or two. We have two cats and the 4 of us are extremely bonded, there is no way we can be apart. None of us. Without help we'll be homeless. We are supposed to be out May 2. I have been trying to sell my art but I'm introverted, paralyzed with anxiety, depressed, and it's not a great recipe for marketing or 'attracting' buyers. Also, I don't have supplies to continue making any as my ability is limited (I can't paint anymore because of the tremors MS causes, so I can only do certain types of art).

Laila is working part time at 2 jobs and trying to find another one. I hate that any of this is on her, but it's where things stand at the moment.

I tried taking a few different classes but can't retain anything (thanks, MS).
