Hi everyone, my name is Arsema Yohannes, daughter of Yohannes Tsegaye. My dad started his battle with colon cancer December 2020, when I was a senior in high school. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and had an operation to remove a tumor. For a year, he fought as hard as he could, and won the battle. Now a sophomore in college, my dad unfortunately has relapsed and the original cancer has spread to his liver and has caused multiple liver masses, which has been diagnosed as Stage 4 liver cancer. We plan on fighting again just like last time. The last time my dad had cancer, he stopped working for a year due to treatments, and to add onto it, covid had hit his business very hard. And now with his second battle of cancer, he will have to stop working again. Being his only child and college student means I have to take care of bills, insurance etc. I plan on raising money for my dads out of pocket hospital bills, chemotherapy and other insurance expenses since his insurance does not fully cover his medical bills. The money donated will also go to other bills, rent and expenses that can be released off my dads shoulder. Every donation matters and counts.
