Let's Help Howard Babbitt!

Hi everybody! Howard has been taking care of my lawn for 10 years along with many of my neighbors. He takes care of all the common areas in the neighborhood too, and has been for nearly 20 years. He recently found out that he has blood cancer. He will have a bone marrow transplant at a hospital in Charlotte in late November and is required to be at the hospital -- in isolation -- for 90 days thereafter, and then continue to live nearby while he receives ongoing treatment. It is a difficult position to be in.

Howard is truly a wonderful, kind person and is like family to us. He has been here for us for anything we needed. Now it’s our turn to do something for him.

Let's rally together and encourage him with donations. He could really use help with the mounting medical bills. Our initial fundraising goal is set at $10k, but it may be adjusted later depending on community response. Truly, anything helps. Thank you all so much.
