The Front Steps Project

A photography movement aimed to make a difference in our communities

It feels like the world has stopped as we struggle to find our new norm through social distancing. 

​As a photographer, I typically spend hours every week capturing the joy of families, the love of brining a new baby into the world, and the treasured milestones of our little ones. Those moments are still happening in homes right now, but I can't be there to capture them.

Another wonderful photographer in Boston started a movement called #thefrontstepsproject and I want to be a part of it for our community! I am offering to take 5 minute 'Front Steps Portraits' of Livingston and Oakland County residents. I am taking a few hours each day to scurry around town and snap super fast images of families on their door steps in Southeastern Michigan.

This will absolutely be FREE! In exchange, I'm encouraging you to make a good faith donation to the United Way for Southeastern Michigan's newly established COVID-19 fund through this Go Fund Me Campaign. The fund was created to help those most impacted in our community.

I hope this project will bring us together during this very difficult time of isolation, and put a smile on your face all while helping our community who needs us!
