Help Roy Mealer Beat Cancer

On July 5th I married my best friend Carol after 3 years of traveling the US together. In late June I injured my knee cleaning out my firepit. Went to urgent care xray didn't show anything remarkable suspected MCL tear. Referred to Orthopedic surgeon. Doctor reviewed xray and diagnosed me with a meniscus tear and injected knee with cortisone. Plan was if things don't improve in 2 weeks return for MRI.

The evening of July 13th was the turning point I was no longer able to tolerate the pain and mobility was restricted. The next morning I had Carol take me to the ER. It was there that we both sat with a devastating look as the ER doctor very patiently informed us of the bad news. I have Renal Cell Carcinoma metastasized to the liver, lungs and bones. The knee injured harvested an opportunity for the cancer to take over and in 3 weeks the cancer has degraded my knee bone to dust.

I do not have medical insurance and we are 100% at the mercy of assistance, foundations, scholarships and/or donations to ensure I receive the medical treatment needed for my condition.
