Hello everyone. I’m Kaylee, Mike's daughter. It is with deep sadness we announce that after a very long battle with cancer, my dad has gone home to be with the Lord.

I remember the day my parents got married. Before my dad walked down the aisle to wait for my mom, he hugged me and told me that it would be my choice to call him Mike or Dad, and he would be okay with either. I told him I would love to call him Dad. And the rest is history; from that day forward, he was Dad to me. He taught me to fish, camp, shoot guns, and even hunt. As I got older, he supported me and loved me through everything. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for every moment I had with my dad.

My dad was a good friend to most, a great dad to me and my siblings, the best grandpa to all his grandbabies, and a loving husband to my mom.

We are making this GoFundMe to help with the cost of cremation, a celebration of life, and help my mom with anything else she may need.
