My story

My name is Binta Taal.I am a 20 year old first year enrolled Nursing student in the Gambia West Africa.I was born with sickle cell (SS) disease which has progressed to cause Avascular Necrosis of the femoral head of my hip rendering me immobile due to constant unbearable pain.

I urgently need a total hip replacement abroad due to the need for an exchange transfusion and Haematology backup. We found private hospital in the United kingdom willing to perform the procedure for an estimated cost of £25,000.

Please assist me in raising the funds to cover the cost.Any amount will be appreciated .
