On July 19, 2022, Mom (Laura) was admitted to a hospice home, as her condition after battling cancer for the past 7 years has significantly deteriorated.
Our main priority at this time is having family by Mom’s side and ensuring she is comfortable. While still fighting for her life, we have been told her days are very limited. We appreciate the thoughts and prayers, well-wishes, flowers, and support received from everyone.
One of Mom’s requests is to have funeral services and be buried next to her husband at Highbridge Cemetery. Mom is of limited financial means after being unable to work over the past years and is without life insurance to assist with final expenses. We are doing our best to fulfill her wishes. While it is difficult to determine the right time to ask for help, we need to do so now. Please donate if you are able. Any funds exceeding service and burial costs will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Our family is beyond grateful for each and every one of you and we will never be able to fully express our thanks.
With love, Laura’s children; Michael, Kara, Christopher, Sierra & family.
