Poncho’s Funeral Expenses
Over the last few weeks our family has received life changing news. My brother who we call Poncho, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The cancer has metastasized to several areas including his brain. On Thursday, he will undergo brain surgery at University of Maryland.
Poncho is the baby of our family of 4 children. Growing up with 3 sisters could not have been easy. The 3 of us like to take credit for making him the wonderful husband he is today. He and Robin have been married for 23 years, and have 3 beautiful children. Two years ago, he became a Poppy and loves his little guy , Carson.
Poncho is one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. He had no issues working 7 days a week long hours to provide for his family. He learned at an early age the electrical trade and now specializes in solar power.
I created this fundraiser to assist Poncho and his family with the medical and living expenses. In a short amount of time , there have been many changes. Poncho had to stop working almost immediately after learning of the diagnosis. This week has been extremely difficult as Poncho was hospitalized and his wife, Robin has been by his side. We do not know what the future holds, but we are expecting hurdles and a long road ahead to recovery. Our family is doing what we can to support them during this time. We appreciate your love, prayers and support during this time to help get him through this battle.
I appreciate anything you can donate, please feel free to share this with your family and friends in an effort to reach as many people possible to help my brother.
