Empowering Education in Kenya: Help Build Brighter Futures

Hi, I’m Ifeoluwa Bolarin, and in July 2026 I’ll be taking part in Didsbury Sixth Form’s first-ever volunteer trip to Nakuru, Kenya. I’ll be helping to teach local children, coach sports, and build much-needed classrooms in some of the area’s most disadvantaged schools.

Nakuru is Kenya’s fourth-largest town, but many families still struggle with poverty and limited access to education. The schools we’ll be supporting urgently need new classrooms, toilets, and learning resources.

I’m fundraising to help cover the cost of travel, accommodation, building materials, and supplies for lessons and sports activities.

Every donation – big or small – will bring me closer to making this life-changing experience happen and will directly support children in Nakuru.
