Many of you are aware of the struggles that Jerry and his family have faced as Jerry continues to battle a cancer diagnosis.
With the support of his family and friends, Jerry is now at home and under the care of hospice. His condition currently requires full-time care. Caring for a loved one can be challenging both emotionally, physically and financially.
Katherine (his wife) is now home with Jerry full-time and has chosen to take time away from work to be with him. At this time, her main focus should be on Jerry and their family, not finances. Any donation will help to ease the financial burden while she is not working. Many people have expressed the desire to donate in support of Katherine as she fully devotes this time to her family.
It is important to note that the Beard family is not seeking donations. This GoFundMe page was created by a friend of the family, as a resource for those who have already expressed the desire to donate in support of Katherine and Jerry. All donations will go directly to Katherine via Kelly Beard Minter (Jerry's daughter).
