Mom’s Cancer Treatments

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck back in 2015. My mom is the toughest person I know and beat this cancer once before. She will drive herself to treatment in Boston and drive the whole way back to Pennsylvania by herself. She is the strongest person I know and wants to live. Now the cancer has come back and is growing at a rapid rate. She was receiving treatment in Boston at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, where have continued an aggressive treatment of chemotherapy for the past few months. Last week they have told her that there isn't anything further they can do and the treatment isn't helping. 

My mother originally beat cancer with the help of a doctor from Johns Hopkins, Dr. Kang. He is now practicing in California. This doctor treating my mother is our last hope and I intend to get her to him for treatment of beating this cancer once again. Or at the very least to stop the progression and growth of the tumors that are on the right side of her neck.
