Salutations from FIRST FRC Team 587, the Hedgehogs!

As a robotics team, we are excited to have the opportunity to go to FIRST Championships in St. Louis this year. We were 2015 NC Regional Finalists and our high score was 101. We are hoping to raise $10,587 to cover transportation costs to St. Louis, and to help reduce the cost for each team member so more can attend. We will be taking around 15 to 20 students and mentors by either plane or bus (probably plane). Championships this year is from April 22 to the 25th. With this short time span, we realize that raising money can be difficult and stressful.
Robotics has been different this year. We had 27 new members (now our gender ratio is nearing 50/50) and a complete change in the game challenge. While we have struggled with the bumps in the road, we have grown into a strong team that really is like a family.
We are asking you to support this family. By going to Championships, we can further inspire the youth with STEM and support their creativity, knowledge, and curiosity.
