A Family United: Help Harlie Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Raechel Comstock, and I’m reaching out to share the story of my amazing daughter, Harlie Reed. In October 2024, Harlie was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive breast cancer at just 20 years old. Since then, she has bravely undergone six rounds of chemotherapy, and she will continue with targeted immunotherapy every 3 weeks for the next year. Her journey is far from over, as she faces a double mastectomy on March 31st and will need five weeks of radiation therapy in Rochester, MN, 300 miles away from our home.
Throughout this journey, Harlie has shown remarkable strength and resilience. She lives at home with me (her mother), her stepfather Ian, and her siblings—Trin, Titan, Otto, and Odin. Harlie is not only a daughter and sister but also a primary caregiver for her two youngest brothers, Otto and Odin. Her dedication to her family has been unwavering, even as she faces her own battle with cancer.
As a family, we are doing everything we can to support her, but the financial strain of her treatment, travel, and extended care is overwhelming. The costs of radiation therapy, travel to Rochester, and the ongoing medical expenses are adding up, and we are asking for your help. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly toward supporting Harlie's treatment, medical bills, and the travel expenses we face as we support her in Rochester.
Additionally, we will be holding a fundraiser on March 28th, to raise funds for Harlie’s care. There will be a silent auction, and a performance by Sierra Griggs. If you're able to attend, we’d love to see you there, but if not, we deeply appreciate any financial support you can offer.
This has been an incredibly difficult time for us all, but we are so grateful for the love, support, and generosity from our community. Your donation will not only help Harlie continue her fight against cancer but also ease the burden on our family during this challenging time.
Thank you for being a part of our journey. Together, we can make a difference in Harlie's battle and give her the support she needs to stay strong and focused on her recovery.
With heartfelt thanks,
Raechel Comstock and Family
