Kimmy Blackley's Cancer Battle

We are trying to raise money for our moms cancer treatment and transpertation cost, and lodging. She is currently doing a clinical trial at Memorial Sloan Kettering and has been on this treatment since October 2014. This has been the only treatment that seems to be helping my mom, however it requires her to travels to New York City every 7 to 10 days, and then for all her scans and Doctor visits which have been many times a month. Bottom line is it is costly . My mom is a single mom with a 16 year old at home and son in college. Although our mom has worked all her life things  changed for her when she got cancer, she lost her job which she worked for over ten years during her first round of treatment. And also she lost her health insurance. She does recieve social security however the many trips to and from treatment to New York City put a heavy strain on the househould. My mom is about to enter  into a Stem Cell Transplant which will require many test to be done ahead of time and doctors appointment. So this is why we are trying to raise money to help in transportation to and from doctors appointments and treatments, also lodging for the days she has to be there a few days in a row.
