My name is Eloise. I am fundraising to help Washington with medical bills. Washington is one of the most humble, generous, and caring people I've ever met. I've known him since 2005; he has always worked hard. Washington and his wife were finally able to open their small catering business, Brazilian Mammas Food, in 2016. They have served the Brazilian and local communities for the last six years. Each meal Brazilian Mammas Food prepares is very special. Their clients always recognize and send them feedbacks to let them know how much they loved the food. In November 2021, Washington fell sick. He was unable to urinate. The doctors decided to insert a catheter and proceed with other exams. He waited for the results of the exams for several weeks and spent all his savings. In March 2022, he was diagnosed with stages 1. 2. and 3 cancer. The doctors have suggested chemotherapy treatment. Each session costs $1.300, and Washington will need approximately ten sessions. Washington will most likely need surgery to remove cancer. I am advocating for Washington because he doesn't have insurance, and he and his wife Lilian Christine Carter,  have spent all their savings.
