On February 7, 2025, Katie Stone (Arvidson) was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as Triple Negative Breast Cancer, Stage 1 Grade 2. She has completed 12 weeks of chemotherapy in Wichita and is now continuing treatment with additional rounds at the University of Kansas Cancer Center in Kansas City. Throughout her journey so far, Katie has bravely faced complications including infections, dehydration, and low white blood cell counts. Encouragingly, her most recent scans show signs of improvement. If her progress continues, she is planning to undergo a double mastectomy this fall

A devoted and loving mother of four, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, Katie is always a source of light and love for all that know her.
