I’m trying to get back on the transplant list at Mayo Clinic going through intensive testing. Mayo makes the appointments and I have to show up. If I try to reschedule or cancel then I’m demonstrating I’m not committed and non compliant. The problem is I don’t get paid when I’m not at work. We’ve tried to keep up but things have snowballed. We are in need of help. I’m just hoping to get caught up. I will have more appointments coming up at the beginning of the year. I’m not sure if I can continue to go through this process. It’s hurting my family and our livelihood. I can’t keep up this pace of teaching 40+ hours and being hooked to the dialysis machine for fifteen hours a week. On the days I do not dialize I have doctors appointments In results to go to to stay on compliance and alive. I love my job and the district I teach. I desperately need this transplant to remain teaching and be here for my family. I won’ wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t dire. Any amount will help. Thank you.
