Nick & Dystany Blackford Support

First of all, Id like to say how thankful we are for all the love, support and kindness Dystany and Nick have received during this time from all our friends and family. It has meant so much to us and everyone has made this difficult time a little easier. Dystany and Nick started their happily ever after on September 3rd, 2016. Three weeks after the wedding of 2 perfectly healthy young adults, Nick was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cancer. He had just started a new job and their insurance hadn't even started yet. Not only was he diagnosed with stage 4 renal cancer it had metastasized to his brain. He went in surgery that same week and had a tumor removed from his brain. Not long after that surgury he had another major surgery to remove a large tumor and one of his kidneys. Dystany has not been able to work since October of 2016. She dedicated her time to make sure Nick had the best care possible. Their life consisted of ER visits, Dr Visits, hospital stays and many tears.

The amount of people who have already inquired about giving to Dystany and Nick is truly humbling and very much appreciated. We will be using the donations to pay for any final expenses and make life a little easier for them right now.
