HELP LAY OUR DAD TO REST

Hi, my name and Angel and I’m making this GoFundMe me on the behalf of not only myself but my siblings and grandma too. On Friday night, the 26th day of July, my dad went to heaven surrounded by us, his kids and our grandma. My dad passed at the young age of 47 due to heart failure and stage 4 COPD. If anyone knew my dad, he was such a cool, funny and understanding person. We cannot believe our dad is gone. This is the most traumatic thing we have ever been through. We have a little sister that watched him go and she is so lost without my dad and was his very best friend. My grandmas only son and everything is just so hard on us of all right now. This is not something we were prepared for and he did not have life insurance. My Grandma relied on my dad a lot. His immediate family only consists of me, my younger brother, my younger sister, my younger cousin, and my grandma. My dad wished to be cremated, but me and my family would love to have a service for him in order to honor his life, and also be able to say our proper goodbyes. We are currently being quoted $2,000 for the cremation, $4,500 for a memorial only during time of receiving cremation, or $6,000 for a formal funeral. Whatever amount we can raise is the route we will take but we will be sure to cremate our dad no matter what so he can come home. Please if you can’t help financially, share this go fund me and even a prayer. At this point anything helps. My grandma lives on one social security check and cares for 2 kids. My dad was the help in the house. We are trying to mourn the loss of our father, who was the glue of our family, and we can’t properly mourn because we are stressed about being able to properly serve him his peace and let him rest. My dad deserved to have a proper service and it would mean the world to my family if we could have that. We thought we had more time and this wasn’t something anyone is ever ready to prepare for. We really appreciate anything even if it is just a share.
