Hi, my name is Ivy. I have started this GoFundMe to raise the money required for my senior trip to Kyoto, Japan!
I need to raise $4,500 by April to cover the cost. The money covers all my expenses, including flights, meals, and hotels, trips to museums, taiko drumming classes, tea ceremonies, the Arashiyama Bamboo grove, and much more. All at the peak of cherry blossom season!
Because of past health issues, I haven’t been able to participate in any of the previous school trips. This being my senior year, and being healthy, I am REALLY hoping to make this happen!
I feel that the opportunity to see another country, experience a different culture, try different foods, and spend time absorbing what the world has to offer is crucial for development and a global perspective. This is also a safe and structured way to travel with my friends, so I can feel free to take it all in, fully embrace the experience, and celebrate the end of our high school years.
I just can’t pass this up!
