Ash’s transition!

Hi! My name is Ash, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my medical gender transition from female to male.

As a trans person living in the UK, it is almost impossible to go through the NHS to get all of my transition needs. Not only would I be on a huge waiting list for years, I would also then still have to pay for my top surgery (which averages around £5,000 to £8,000). On a standard job wage, I have slowly come to realise how impossible this goal was. I have decided to go completely private with my transition journey which will cost a lot more but I won’t have to wait as long.

I was incredibly hesitant to start this because I dislike the idea of asking for money, but I fear that this is the only way to go about things. Don’t feel any obligation to pay a penny if you can’t nor want to, but please all I ask of you is to share this around to everyone. Maybe I won’t reach the large amount I’m looking for, but any help is greatly appreciated.
