Running 100 winter miles for North Devon Hospice
North Devon Hospice is a local charity providing specialist care and support to people who are affected by cancer and other life-limiting illness. I'm hoping to raise some money for North Devon Hospice (who have to raise £4.5 million from scratch every year) and would love it if you would donate to this cause. My lovely mum is unfortunately going to be supported by these guys over the coming months, so it's a charity very close to home for me.
If this isn't reason enough to part with some dollars, I'm going to be running the MudCrew Arc of Attrition on 29th Jan this year. This is a 100(ish) mile ultramarathon around the western section of the Cornwall coast path. Knowing that I'm helping raise funds for a good cause and one that's close to home will be a big boost to getting me round in the long hours of the night. The race has got a 50% dropout rate, so I'm definitely not guaranteeing that I'll finish! But if you'd be willing to pop me a few pounds for being mad enough to enter and giving it my best shot, I'd be hugely grateful.
Thanks
