Hello supporters…let me introduce myself and tell you why I am needing this fundraiser so badly! Bless you all

My name is Maria Bruce, I am a 37 year old mom to my handsome 15 year old son, I’m also a sister, an aunt, a daughter, cousin, and a friend! I have worked a job(some full-time and others part-time) since I was 15 years old! I have struggled most of my adult life, similar to many other people I know! It was a struggle a lot of the time!
My mom passed away on April 15th,2022 from lung cancer! I miss her terribly! She would have told anyone that “Maria was so friendly &smart and had a big heart, she had so much potential!”

Life has a mysterious way of throwing unexpected challenges our way. On April 1st, 2022, I received Devastating news: I was diagnosed with Triple Negative stage II Breast Cancer
Cancer is such a challenging adversary, & it brings not only physical changes, but also significant emotional & financial burdens. As I undergo treatments, medical expenses, and basic daily needs, costs keep adding up , causing me much Stress. I really want to focus on my health and wellbeing and healing without added worries of finances. Following my diagnosis, I had to do these things

Apply for emergency Tenncare
Have my port placed -for chemotherapy
I completed 81/2 months of chemotherapy-rang the ️ bell
Double Masectomy in January 2023
Due to infection had a 2nd surgery on 2/3/2023
Immunotherapy(Keytruda)
Hospitalization due to the side effects from the chemotherapy
Proton Radiation Therapy (6 weeks 30treatments total) rang my 2nd bell on 09/15/2023
3 different blood transfusions
Brain tumor resection on 11-10/2023(stayed in Neuro ICU from 11/6/2023 til 11/15/2023
Port removed because it was kinked around my jugular vein
Began chemotherapy oral medicine this past week!
Have future appointments and scans scheduled for this month

After an already tough and emotional two years, my oncologist informed
Me, I have stage four metastatic breast cancer which is not curable, placed me with Palliative Care doctor and said statistically I have 6months - possibly 2 years life expectancy. However, I cannot dwell on that; I need to only focus on battling this aggressive monstrous disease! Stay strong in my thoughts and prayers, continue to fight no matter what! And must continue to stay as positive as I can!!
My son lives in Texas
I want to go visit him later this summer or maybe in the Fall, so I can see him play football! And his 16th birthday is August 30th! I understand completely that times are hard for many people & I genuinely appreciate any support you can or able to provide, whether that be a donation, a kind message. Transportation costs to & from appointments & treatments
Medical bills
Medication costs including Co pay costs for my many prescription costs, and other expenses that go towards my health and well being

Money to go towards visiting my son in Texas later this summer/Fall
